13 PRAYERS FOR COUPLES - 03. PRAYER FOR GODLY LOVE

Dear Lord, thank you for the gift of Love.

We pray that you fill us with love for each other that reflects your love for us. Your love patient, and kind; help us to walk together with patience and kindness.

Your love isn't boastful, rude, or proud. Help us to humbly walk in love careful to boast of nothing because you are the giver of all that is good. When we are tempted to be rude, help us so that instead, our words and actions build each other up.

Your love is not easily angered. Let us be slow in getting angry and rich in love for each other. Your love keeps no record of wrongs, help us to forgive each other.

Your love does not delight in evil; help us not lead each other to delight in that which is evil and contrary to your will. Your love rejoices in truth, help us be honest with each other.

Your love always protects, trusts, hopes, and preserves. Help us love in a way that protects, trusts, and preserves one another. May we always be hopeful instead of negative in every circumstance that we find ourselves in.

Let us love each other just as you love us.
