HEART DISEASE
Wash! O Wash! Wash away these memories with flowing water so that every scoop is fresh and the used drops go with every bit of dirt gathered that day.
Inject me with whatever medication necessary to cure my failing heart…
How could I be so agreeable when each of my protests however soft was disregarded?
How could I be so chill in the very presence of disrespect and violation?
How could I not firmly defend everything dignified I believe in?
I will tell you why...,
This sick heart is so fearful,
This sick heart of is so quick to give in,
This sick heart is so easily cowered even when right,
This sick heart is so selfish and self-preserving,
This sick heart, so out of touch with its maker falls into every snare,
This sick heart left to itself will predictably lead me always straight down the drain,
I could go on and on about this failing heart but I know for sure that this heart has many issues rightly diagnosed in Jeremiah 17:9;
THE HEART IS DECEITFUL ABOVE ALL THINGS AND DESPERATELY WICKED.
Since this sick heart is not to be left on its own for even a moment; (Have you heard those descriptions DECEITFUL and DESPERATELY WICKED).., I have run to God, The creator and like David I acknowledge; my flesh and my heart faileth (Ps. 73:26)
Is your heart as diseased as mine dear friend? Is it constantly failing you as much as mine?
2 things for us;
1. Run to The Lord: The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and contrite heart, the Lord will not despise. (Ps. 51:17). In John 6:37 Jesus says that: “HIM THAT COMETH TO ME I WILL IN NO WISE CAST OUT.
2. Wait on The Lord. David exhorts us: WAIT ON THE LORD: BE OF GOOD COURAGE, AND HE SHALL STRENGTHEN THINE HEART: WAIT, I SAY, ON THE LORD. (Ps. 27:14)
Our only hope is in God. WAIT, again I say, on The LORD!
Live Light!

The same thing happened to me today, thanks for the object lesson.
